Three teenagers accused of murdering a market trader will stand trial today.

The boys, one aged 16 and two aged 15, will appear at the Old Bailey for the trial, which is expected to last three to four weeks.

They cannot be identified for legal reasons.

Rashid Naeem, of Clements Road, East Ham, was stabbed while selling mobile phones at his stall on Queen’s Market in February and died in hospital two days later.

The 29-year-old is believed to have become a father for the second time shortly before his death.
