Stratford woman Kuntal Patel in court over mum’s attempted murder

A woman from Stratford who was arrested by anti-terror detectives is appearing in court today accused of her mother’s attempted murder.

Kuntal Patel, of Park Road, was arrested in January as part of a series of police raids on properties across the capital.

The 36-year-old is appearing at the Old Bailey charged with attempting to murder Meena Patel between December 10 last year and January 26.
