Operation Ohio: Upton Park schools patrolled by officers

17:16 05 December 2012

High visibility patrols have visited all the nurseries, primary schools, and Stratford School Academy in the square mile of Upton Park currently being scoured as part of Operation Ohio.

Council officers and police have teamed up to target rogue traders and anti-social behaviour for 48 hours, starting this morning.

The operation focused on abuses of the blue badge parking scheme and this evening patrols will target illegal out-of-hours trading while continuing to issue enforcement fines for issues such as fly-tipping and dog control.
