A man is due in court today over two assaults on pensioners in East Ham.

Kyrone Joseph, 22, of Victoria Road, will appear at Stratford Magistrates’ Court charged with two counts of GBH.

Unemployed Joseph is alleged to have assaulted 75-year-old Patricia Beckford in Grangewood Street on May 16, and a 71-year-old man in the same road on June 20.

He was arrested on Monday and was charged with the offences yesterday.
