Detectives name two men wanted in connection with Jordan Ajobo killing in North Woolwich

Detectives are warning the public not to approach two men they want to question about the killing of 21-year-old Jordan Ajobo in North Woolwich.

They have released images today of 21-year-olds Cristiano Filipe and Ibraheem Giwa and are advising anyone who sees them to dial 999.

Det Chief Insp Gary Holmes, investigating officer, said: “I am appealing to any members of the public who may have information about the death of Jordan Ajobo or the whereabouts of the men wanted by police in connection with the killing to come forward.”

The appeal follows Jordan’s fatal stabbing on November 8.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to Pier Road, approaching the Woolwich Ferry, at 8.10pm that night, when Jordan was found with critical stab wounds.

They gave first aid at the scene before Jordan was taken by ambulance to hospital, but he died more than an hour later at 9.30pm.

A post-mortem examination at East Ham Mortuary on November 10 gave cause of death as a stab wound.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts or about the murder are also being urged to call the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command incident room on 020 8345 1570, or tweet @MetCC. Anonymous calls can be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
