A 23-year-old man was stabbed in Stratford on Thursday (Jan 10) as he returned home from a shopping trip.
The man, from Stratford, was out with a friend at Westfield shopping centre when five men emerged from a silver people carrier vehicle in West Ham Lane.
Police were called to the scene by the London Ambulance Service at approximately 6pm. He was taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel by ambulance with non life-threatening injuries and he has since been discharged.
Police burst through the doors of 13 suspected gang members today in a series of dawn raids to crack down on street violence.
