Police appeal for men suspected of abusing DLR staff

Three men are suspected of hurling homophobic abuse, threatening and spitting at staff on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) - and police are appealing for readers’ help identifying them.
This man is suspected of threatening staff at Devons RoadThe men are thought to have carried out the verbal and physical assaults in three separate incidents at Devons Road, Canning Town and Limehouse DLR stations.
Detectives from the British Transport Police have released CCTV images of the men as part of an appeal for the public to help identify them.
Det Insp Jim Chamberlain said: “Tube staff should not have to endure abuse or violence for simply carrying out their job.”
One man is suspected of threatening a member of staff at Devons Road station on the evening of December 15. Another is suspected of spitting at staff on the afternoon of December 20 at Limehouse station, and a third man is suspected of hurling homophobic abuse at staff on October 1 at Canning Town station.
