London 2012 ticket tout fined

Olympic tout Wolfgang Menzel who was caught selling tickets for the Opening Ceremony outside the Games’ stadium was fined £435 at Stratford Court on Monday.

He had 31 tickets for various events on him and another 20 at his hotel in Bloomsbury.

Menzel, 57, claimed he got carried away and bought too many tickets and then friends and family were unable to come to London.
