The giant slide was put up at the entrance to the shopping centre as a marketing initiative by the Waitrose store inside aimed at provide shoppers with a fun alternative to the escalators whilst promoting the Love life healthy food brand.
All those trying out the slide were promised a fruit sample and a voucher for money off the range at the store.
The slide, which is made from 100 per cent renewable materials, was installed until yesterday (Monday).
It will now be donated to an adventure playground in East London.
