Even the biggest Beyonce fan might think twice about having this statue of the singer in their house – it’s made entirely out of cheese.

Sculptor David Bradley spent 28 very patient hours creating this work of art – dubbed Brie-once – ahead of the E20 cheese carving championships.

Working alongside food art experts The Robin Collective and food sculptor Jacqui Kelly, he recreated the pop star’s pregnancy photo using 20kg of cheddar, a knife and a magnifying glass.

David is one of three cheese sculptors taking part in Saturday’s championships, part of East Village’s cheese and wine festival.

And if you think you could come up with a work of art that’s equally brie-lliant, the final space in the competition open to the public.
