Breaking: Second World War shell found in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

A Second World War shell was found in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park this morning.

Police were called to a construction site on the western edge of the park at 11.40am.

Officers are on the scene and a cordon is still in place around the area where the discovery was made although access to the park is still available.
