A best-selling children’s author and illustrator will visit Discover Children’s Story Centre in Stratford on Saturday.

Debi Gliori will hold an interactive reading and book signing with young fans to promote her new picture book, Dragon Loves Penguin, as part of the centre’s summer programme.

The No Matter What author will encourage children to draw along with her as she reveals the inspiration behind the story of the unlikely pair in her new picturebook.

The event is included within admission to Discover’s Story Trail, Story Garden and interactive family exhibition, Secret Agents - Spy Academy, which costs £4.50 per person for Newham residents (under twos go free)
