A global budget department store opened its doors for the first time in Stratford this morning.
Xtra factor host Sarah-Jane Crawford cut the ribbon at the new TK Maxx shop in Westfield Stratford City, before playing a special DJ set to celebrate the launch.
She said: “I’m a huge fan of designer bargains and the new TK Maxx store is heaven for shopping lovers.”
In addition to the entrainment, the first 500 customers through the doors at 10am also received a special £10 gift card.
Westfield’s director of marketing for the UK and Europe Myf Ryan said: “Westfield Stratford City is home to hundreds of brands from High St to luxury and the arrival of TK Maxx to The Street means even more fabulous brands at great prices for our customers.
“We have no doubt the store will be a huge success.”
