Newham Council has signed a £400,000 deal with a private firm to combine the information it holds on children n social care.
The contract with CACI for new software covers areas such as education and early intervention. The move is expected to cut costs at Dockside.
Cllr Quintin Peppiatt said: “The new system will enable consistent, more efficient and accurate reporting and sharing of information,
“It also means children and families will not have to repeat information to different professionals as is the case now.”
