West Ham forward Matt Jarvis was delighted to score his first goal for the Hammers against QPR.
The former Wolves man gave the east Londoners a third minute lead against the R’s before Ricardo Vaz Te doubled it.
Although Adel Taarabt pulled a goal back for QPR, the Hammers held on to claim the win as the home side saw Samba Diakite sent off.
“I’m delighted to get my first goal and get my first win,” Jarvis told Sky Sports.
The Brisbane Road-based club are hopeful permission for a review will be granted after oral hearing.
