Sam Allardyce says he will be making his West Ham players well aware of the threat posed by QPR new boy Loic Remy when they go head to head at Upton Park on Saturday.
The France international is set for his R’s debut against the Hammers following his £8million move from Marseille.
Allardyce says Remy is a player he knows well and believes his pace could prove dangerous in the Premier League.
The West Ham boss says he will be preparing his players to deal with the 26-year-old, who is charged with scoring the goals to lift Rangers away from danger.
“I’ve seen him quite a few times,” said Allardyce. “I think that his main asset is his genuine pace.
“Anybody with genuine pace can cause teams lots of problems.
“So whether he starts or comes on as a sub, we’ll be making our players aware of his strengths and making sure he doesn’t pose too many problems for us.”
