Tottenham midfielder Sandro took to Twitter to play down long-term injury fears after he was stretchered off in yesterday’s 3-1 win against West Ham.
The Brazilian had to be carried off on a stretcher towards the end of the win after taking a blow to the stomach.
But last night he dismissed fears he could be set for a long injury lay-off.
He tweeted: “Hey guys, thanks for all the messages! I’m so pleased with our win today. I had a hard hit, but I’m feeling good! #sandroBeast #superSandro.”
Yaya Sanogo says a meeting with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was enough to persuade him to snub a move to Lille and join the Gunners instead.
