QPR boss hails departing defender after West Ham draw

QPR manager Harry Redknapp praised the contribution of defender Ryan Nelsen and confirmed the New Zealander will depart for Toronto in Major League Soccer shortly.
Transfer deals must be concluded quickly but the R’s boss could not shed any fresh light on reported interest in Rennes’ Yann M’Vila.
Redknapp added: “He [Nelsen] is a great pro, a good centre-half. We’re going to lose him unfortunately, start of March, end of February.”
