Arsenal and Spurs target has not had West Ham release clause triggered

Transfer news: Initial reports that a club had triggered a £3.5million release clause for West Ham midfielder Mohamed Diame proved to be wide of the mark with the club confirming that no bids have been tabled for the 25-year-old.
Tottenham and Arsenal have been linked with the Senegal star and the news set social media sites aflutter, but has since been denied.
Co-owner David Sullivan told Sky: “No [Diame] bid today from any club, let alone one which invokes his release clause.”
His son Jack also tweeted: Contrary to reports there has been no bid for Diame today from anybody. #COYI #WHU #whufc’
He added: ‘We expect no arrivals tonight, a player we hoped to get has gone to Turkey. We hope & expect no departures tonight but Diarra is out on loan’
There was one exit from Upton Park tonight however as Alou Diarra was allowed to join Rennes on loan until the end of the season.
