New Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas is in doubt of what is expected of him at White Hart Lane, as successor to the departed Harry Redknapp.
Villas-Boas lifted the lift on early discussion he has had with Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy.
The Portu-geezer, who was fired by Chelsea following a turbulent period in the Stamford Bridge dressing room, knows the White Hart Lane hierarchy crave silverware above all.
“The chairman wants continuous success. That can only happen when you put titles in your cabinet. Hopefully, we can do exactly that,” said Villas Boas.
He said: “Since meeting the chairman here, I like the way he goes about his business at the football club. I think that he is a person who knows what he is doing.”
Yaya Sanogo says a meeting with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was enough to persuade him to snub a move to Lille and join the Gunners instead.
