Transfer news: Grant Hall has not signed a new deal at Brighton
Tottenham target Grant Hall’s future is unclear as his contract is due to come to an end with a three-year deal at Brighton left unsigned.
The 20-year-old defender made three appearances last season and has been linked with Spurs, who will be looking to invest in the future.
“It looks like he is still looking for other options,” Seagulls manager Gus Poyet told The Argus. “He hasn’t signed for anyone but he’s got that option, because he is free.
“I am sure he is going to be doing things in terms of signing for the best team he can find.
“I think his development last year was very good. We used him when he was needed but it’s up to him really. We cannot control it. It’s not in our hands.”
Yaya Sanogo says a meeting with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was enough to persuade him to snub a move to Lille and join the Gunners instead.
