Tottenham star Sandro is targeting a gold medal with Brazil at London 2012.

The 2008 bronze medallists have never won an Olympic tournament and the 23-year-old, who is ecstatic about the call up, believes his side can go all the way.

“I feel so proud, so happy,” Sandro told reporters.

“Brazil have never won this competition and I know we have a great opportunity this time and to make history in our country.

“We have a fantastic squad with Neymar, Pato, Leandro Damiao, Oscar – every player in the squad is a great player.

“It would be a dream for me if we can win this tournament. If we manage to do it we will be very happy.”
