Tottenham transfer news: Vedran Corluka wants more first team football
Tottenham defender Vedran Corluka has said that he is looking for a move away from White Hart lane this summer due to the lack of first team opportunities at the club.
The 26-year-old has fallen behind Kyle Walker in the pecking order at Spurs and made just four league appearances last season.
Corluka spent the second half of last season on loan at Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen and concedes that the time is now right for him to leave Spurs.
“I had a great time at Spurs but I don’t think I will be staying there,” he said. “I want to play and have first-team football.”
The Brisbane Road-based club are hopeful permission for a review will be granted after oral hearing.
