Jermain Defoe will join up with the England squad on Friday
Tottenham star Jermain Defoe has returned to England in order to attend his father’s funeral.
The Spurs striker’s father passed away on the eve of Euro 2012 and the FA has confirmed that Defoe will return to Poland on Friday.
The Three Lions face Italy in the Euro 2012 quarter final on Sunday.
