Rafael van der Vaart revealed that there were some issues in the Holland camp

Tottenham star Rafael van der Vaart has revealed that the Holland camp was an unhappy place during their disastrous Euro 2012 campaign.

The Dutch lost all three of their games and only the Republic of Ireland had a worse record at the tournament.

“There were a few problems, but it wasn’t as bad as people made it out to be. Huntelaar was a bit angry. That’s correct. Bouma slapping the team doctor? Completely false,” Van der Vaart stated to Kicker.

“Of course I will continue as an international. I don’t feel like the calls for rejuvenation are aimed directly at me. We are all to blame for what happened.”
