Transfer news: Julio Cesar could head to Tottenham with Giovani dos Santos going in the other direction
Tottenham’s forgotten man Giovani dos Santos could be used as a makeweight as the north Londoners bid to buy Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar.
The former Barcelona man is well down the pecking order at White Hart Lane and has wanted to leave the club and his agent, Vicente Montes, refused to deny that a player-swap could happen.
“An exchange with Julio Cesar? Journalists often speaking without knowing things but in this case is not so. Inter is one possibility, I do not deny,” he told calciomercato.
“The truth is that Gio has always expressed his preference for La Liga or Serie A and this is our intention.”
