Tottenham transfer news: Playmaker says he won’t win the Champions League with Spurs
Luka Modric has indicated he wants to leave Tottenham believing he can’t achieve his dream of winning the Champions League with Spurs.
Chelsea’s Champions League triumph means the north Londoners will be playing Europa League football next season, despite finishing fourth in the Premier League.
The Croatian has been heavily linked with Real Madrid and Manchester United, with the Spaniards supposedly leading the race for his signature.
“I’m going to play in the Champions League, I want to win that competition. I’m not going to be able to achieve my dream here,” Modric said in the Express.
