Udinese issued a hands off warning to any clubs interested in Samir Handanovic
Udinese have insisted that alleged Tottenham target Samir Handanovic is going nowhere.
The goalkeeper has been playing well for the Italian side and Spurs are alleged to be interested in a long-term replacement for Brad Friedel.
“There has been no contact for him,” said Gino Pozzo, son of Udinese owner Giampaolo.
“He won’t be leaving for now because he is an important element for our project.
“Obviously, we intend to respect the player’s desire, but we want him to stay.
“How much would he cost? He doesn’t have a valuation.”
Handanovic signed a five year contract in August 2011.
The Brisbane Road-based club are hopeful permission for a review will be granted after oral hearing.
