Spurs midfielder undergoes surgery after injury at QPR

Tottenham have announced that Brazilian midfielder Sandro has undergone knee surgery after he was forced off in Saturday’s 0-0 draw with QPR.
Sandro was substituted for Scott Parker with just 25 minutes gone at Loftus Road.
The club will asssess his fitness over the coming days and have not yet revealed how long he is expected to be sidelined.
