Marseille president Vincent Labrune has poured cold water on star man Loic Remy moving to the Premier League as Newcastle, QPR and West Ham are all linked.
The 25-year-old has been in and out of the first-team picture on the south of France and there is no desire to sell either.
“I’m not looking for a way out for Loic,” Labrune told Le Parisien. “I like him, and I know his potential.”
The L’OM president insits that the club do not have to sell in January.
“Our finances are healthy,” added Labrune. “I don’t have to sell this winter, we’re rather in a position to buy one or two players to help continue the best start to a season the club has made in nearly 20 years.”
