Ravel Morrison has today completed a 93-day loan switch from West Ham United to QPR and London24 Sport wants to know your view on the move.
The 21-year-old midfielder is expected to make his debut in Saturday’s London Championship derby away to Charlton, having last month been the subject of a transfer row between the Hammers and Fulham.
The midfielder began his career at Manchester United where former manager Sir Alex Ferguson said he was one of the most gifted teenagers he’d ever seen, but controversy was never far away and he narrowly escaped prison for witness intimidation in 2011 before he was sold to the Hammers the following year.
A season-long loan to Birmingham City saw him focus on matters on the pitch after a rocky start and, after returning to east London in the summer, Morrison impressively burst onto the Premier League season.
He scored five goals in 12 games at the beginning of this term, including a marvellous solo effort against Tottenham, and it led to the England Under-21 international being talked of for possible inclusion in Roy Hodgson’s World Cup squad.
That now looks a distant possibility as he will end the campaign in the second tier of English football.
