Zak Hussain’s men extended their unbeaten run to five matches as a result, heading into their Essex Senior Cup tie at Hullbridge on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Matt Tacey struck in the third minute of extra time to secure a 1-0 win for CLAPTON at Wootton Blue Cross.
Neither side could find the net during normal time, but Tacey broke the deadlock with his first goal for Tons early in the extra period as Chris Wood’s men ensured a happy trip home to the Old Spotted Dog for their noisy travelling supporters.
TOWER HAMLETS also returned home happy from Buckinghamshire after running out 4-0 winners at Winslow United.
The home side went into the tie unbeaten in five matches, but AJ Olatunbosun’s in-form visitors proved too strong.
