London24 readers have been voting in their droves for the London player of 2012.
The results are in and in sixth place is Fulham winger Bryan Ruiz with just four per cent of the vote.
QPR’s Ryan Nelsen grabbed seven per cent to claim fifth, with Tottenham midfielder Sandro just ahead on 11 per cent.
West Ham’s Winston Reid claims a podium place with 18 per cent of the vote.
Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta is this year’s runner up with 21 per cent of the vote.
And the clear winner, with 40 per cent of the vote is Chelsea playmaker Juan Mata.
The Spaniard takes the gong that QPR star Adel Taarabt won last year.
