UEFA are giving, boys’ girls’ and futsal teams the chance of an exclusive training session at the Champions Festival – a free, four-day event being held at the International Quarter, close the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford between May 23 and 26.

The competition is open to schools, amateur clubs and youth teams between the ages of 12 and 18 years (boys and girls) across London and the surrounding area.

The winners of the girls’ and boys’ coaching sessions can bring up to 15 team members to the event, plus five officials.

The winning team for the futsal session will be allowed to enter 10 players only (plus five accompanying persons). Names will need to be registered and submitted to the organisers in advance. Team members should be of a similar age and standard.

Each session will end with six players being picked to play for their respective champions in a three-a-side match, where the winning side will be crowned champions and a player of the match chosen.

The winners will also be offered complimentary tickets to the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final between Lyon and Wolfsburg, which takes place at Stamford Bridge on May 23.

If you think your team is up to it, then submit your contact details and up to 200 words on the subject: ‘Why our team deserves to win an exclusive coaching session with a UEFA Champions League legend’ by email to
