Chelsea’s first goal was scored by Frank Lampard and he celebrated in front of the West Ham fans in The Shed.
It has been alleged that supporters threw objects at the midfielder in the aftermath.
A West Ham United spokesman said in regard to potential objects being thrown from the West Ham fans at Stamford Bridge this afternoon: “ In regard to any potential missile- throwing during Sunday’s game at Stamford Bridge, any individual found to have acted in an inappropriate way will have to face the consequences of their actions, including the possibility of a ban from attending matches.”
A Chelsea spokesman confirmed that they will be looking at CCTV footage to identify any inappropriate behaviour by fans.
“There were no arrests after the game and no one was ejected from the ground during the game,” he said.
Yaya Sanogo says a meeting with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was enough to persuade him to snub a move to Lille and join the Gunners instead.
