Transfer news: Malaga’s Salomon Rondon fears his team-mate Santi Cazorla could be sold
Malaga striker Salomon Rondon has revealed the Spanish club’s ownership crisis could signal the departure of Premier League target Santi Cazorla.
Arsenal are currently leading the race to sign Spanish international Cazorla, while Tottenham have also expressed an interest in the 27-year-old midfielder.
And with Malaga in turmoil over new owners and unpaid wages, Rondon feels their prized asset Cazorla could be on his way out of the club.
“If the situation is not fixed it is normal that players would leave,” said Rondon.
“If someone has to leave, they will leave.
“[Cazorla] would be a big loss for Malaga.
“He is a great player, I congratulate him for his great work for the club.”
