France striker Olivier Giroud have spoke of his delight about his imminent move to Arsenal.

A fee of around £12million has been agreed between the Gunners and Montpellier for the 25-year-old who had been representing his country at Euro 2012.

Giroud bagged 21 league goals for Montpellier as they captured the Ligue 1 title and those goalscoring exploits have opened the door for a ‘dream move’ to the Emirates.

“I am so happy to be signing for Arsenal — it is something that represents so much for me.”

“I’ve always dreamed of playing in the Premier League and Arsenal are a great club with many French players.”
