Transfer news: Robin van Persie is linked with a move away from the Gunners

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has remained silent as his side remains linked with Arsenal star Robin van Persie.

The Dutchman has made it clear that he will not sign a new deal with the club, with his deal expiring next year and has been linked with the Citizens, Manchester United and Juventus.

“We know that Van Persie is a fantastic striker, but we have four strikers and with these strikers we won the Championship last year,” Mancini said.

“But still, Van Persie is a top player. We can say different things about this - but he is an Arsenal player.”
