Transfer news: Robin van Persie is looking to have another meeting with the club to sort out where he will be plying his trade for seasons to come

Arsenal star Robin van Persie is desperate to have his future resolved as quickly as possible.

The Dutchman, who has been linked with moves to Manchester City and Manchester United, revealed that he did not want to sign an extension to his contract, which expires next year.

“Robin returned to training on Monday as expected and made it clear he wants to sit down and resolve the matter of his future, either way, as soon as possible,” a club spokesman has been quoted as saying. “No date has yet been agreed for that meeting.”
