Anders Limpar feels Theo Walcott must time his passes better to silence his critics
Former Arsenal winger Anders Limpar believes that Theo Walcott needs to improve the timing of his passes to be more successful at the Emirates.
The Gunners forward has been overshadowed at Euro 2012 by 18-year-old Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s performance against France and the youngster could usurp the 23-year-old at the Emirates as well.
“Obviously, Theo’s speed is a lethal weapon. Nobody can cope with his pace,” Limpar said.
“At times I feel he could improve the timing of his passes.
“Once he improves that part of his game, I’m sure he’ll be an even better player, score more goals and set up more for his team-mates.”
Yaya Sanogo says a meeting with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was enough to persuade him to snub a move to Lille and join the Gunners instead.
