Arsenal transfer news: Bayern Munich have pulled out of the race to sign Yann M’Vila

Bayern Munich will not rival Arsenal in the race to sign Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila.

The Champions League runners up were linked with the France international, who is set to leave Ligue 1 this summer.

“We had contact with Bayern Munich over Yann M’Vila,” M’Vila’s agent Werder Baader told the French press.

“He is not the kind of player they are looking for at Bayern. They are looking for someone in this position, but they want somebody with different abilities.”
