Transfer news: Mamadou Sakho wants to leave the club if more competition for his spot comes in
Arsenal target Mamadou Sakho will seek an exit from the club if he does not play regularly for Paris Saint-Germain.
The 22-year-old defender struggled to find a place in Carlo Ancelotti’s side last season and the Italian manager wants to sign a new centre back.
“If another defender comes in, I will do everything to leave because I have to think about my future,” he told L’Equipe.
“My objective this season is to be in the starting 11 at a club. So I am opened to propositions of clubs keen to play me and allow me to go on improving.
“I am not keen to experience the last six months of last season. I preferred not to talk about my personal case to not disturb the group.
The Brisbane Road-based club are hopeful permission for a review will be granted after oral hearing.
