Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger revealed that Mikel Arteta will miss the games against Swansea, Chelsea, West Ham, Liverpool and Stoke after a calf injury.
The Spaniard suffered the injury during training and missed the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City.
“He has a scan on Monday, [he will be out for] approximately three weeks,” Wenger said.
“It is a strain on his calf. Of course [it’s a blow]. In midfield he gives us stability, experience and tactical knowledge. We will miss that.”
