Laurent Koscielny backed Olivier Giroud to form a formidable partnership with Robin van Persie, if the Dutchman remains at the Gunners
Arsenal star Laurent Koscielny believes that Olivier Giroud and Robin van Persie can form a formidable partnership and fire the Gunners to silverware.
The north Londoners signed the Montpellier striker after France crashed out of Euro 2012, but face a battle to keep hold of the Dutchman, who is out of contract next year and has been linked with Manchester City, Manchester United and Juventus after he revealed that he would not sign a new deal.
“Giroud and Robin van Persie can play together,” the Frenchman told RMC.
“RVP is one of the greatest strikers in the world. We all want him to stay and help Arsenal win a trophy”
