Theo Walcott wants to produce more for England at Euro 2012
Arsenal star Theo Walcott has promised that there is more to come from him as he scored one and made one as England beat Sweden 3-2.
The Three Lions appeared down and out after a brace from Olof Mellberg put them 2-1 down after Andy Carroll gave his side the lead.
But Walcott burst onto the scene on the hour mark, equalising before teeing up Danny Welbeck to score the winner.
“To make my first appearance in such a high profile arena means so much to me because it’s been a long time coming,” Walcott told BBC Sport. “Hopefully there’ll be more to come from me.
“I wouldn’t say I was a game changer. Obviously I’ve been disappointed at not having played but I’ve been training hard and it’s not about the starting line-up, it’s a squad thing and it’s a great result.
“I was sharp warming up and you need to be sharp on the pitch because at this level it’s always really tough.”
As another enthralling Premier League campaign comes to a close, it’s time to look at some of the men who made their mark.
