Fulham and Tottenham target Burak Yilmaz appears set to be snubbing a move to England, in favour of signing for Italian giants Lazio.

Arsenal, Manchester United and West Ham were also interested in the 26-year-old, who scored 32 Super Lig goals last season and is on his way out of Trabzonspor.

“I know that Trabzonspor and Lazio are still talking but I believe the outcome of these talks will be positive,” Yilmaz said.

“To this I cannot say the deal is finished but I’m 80 per cent sure that next season I will be playing in Italy. Within days I hope this should be finalised”
