Brazilian club Sao Paulo have confirmed the signing of midfielder Ganso from rivals Santos.
The Brazil international had been linked with north London duo Arsenal and Tottenham during the summer.
Ganso has penned a five-year deal at Sao Paulo and moves for a fee of around £7.5million.
“I thank the interest from other clubs, but Sao Paulo moved me,” said the 22-year-old.
“Now that everything has worked out, I can’t wait to get back on the pitch.”
