Arsenal transfer news: Jesper Lynghus claims there is is worldwide interest in Nicklas Bendtner
The agent of Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner there is worldwide interest in his client, who looks ever more likely to leave the Gunners this summer.
The Dane spent the majority of last season on loan at Sunderland after Arsene Wenger brought in Park Chu Young to deputise for Robin van Persie and the mis-firing Marouane Chamakh.
The Frenchman has boosted his striking options with the signing of Lukas Podolski, while Olivier Giroud is set to seal a deal within days.
Bendtner has said many times thathe believes his future lies away from north London and Jesper Lynghus says the 24-year-old will have no trouble in finding a new club.
“The interest is overwhelming, just as it should be after the way Nicklas performed at Euro 2012,” he said.
“We are getting closer day by day.
“We are not commenting on individual deals at the moment, but it is fair to say the interest in Nicklas is global.”
As another enthralling Premier League campaign comes to a close, it’s time to look at some of the men who made their mark.
