Two-wheel enthusiasts were in their element at the weekend as motorbike and cycling exhibitions took over the ExCeL.
Thousands of fans flooded in to get a glimpse of the latest bikes and equipment over four days for the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show and The London Bike Show.
Bikers were in for a treat as the latest Triumph, ridden by none other than four-time world Superbike champion and former king of the celebrity jungle Carl “Foggy” Fogarty opened the show.
But the retired racer wasn’t the only famous face to grace the three-day exhibition of all things full throttle. Former Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond was also on hand to talk with visitors as well as Charlie Boorman, of Long Way Round fame.
Riders also took to the “slide” indoor circuit to show off the latest machines in action.
Ruth Speller, Triumph UK marketing co-ordinator, said: “It’s been a really positive show for us and the perfect environment to launch the new Tiger Sport 1050, as well as show the capabilities of the Speed Triple R at the hands of our stunt riders.
“We had a great moment when Foggy, Charlie Boorman and Richard Hammond were all chatting about our bikes with visitors.”
Next door at the London Bike Show there was no shortage of recognisable riders either.
Britain’s most decorated Olympian, Sir Chris Hoy, and around-the-world cyclist Mark Beaumont were on hand to greet visitors.
Everything from BMX bikes to top-of-the-range track cycles were on show with a chance to have a go on the track for enthusiasts.
