Among them was Shahra Islam, 20, a bank cashier from Plaistow, killed in a bus blast in Holborn while on her way to work. A total of 52 people perished in the attacks.
The commemoration was organised by Newham University Hospital NHS Trust in partnership with charity Bridge Builders in Unity.
East Ham MP Stephen Timms was among those who attended the hour-long event. It included representatives from the emergency services, volunteers, schoolchildren and hospital staff.
Bridge Builders in Unity tries to bring about peace and harmony within and between different faiths and cultures. After 7/7, it organised a march and vigil in which people of all faiths recited peace prayers.
Candles were lit by many of those attending last week's event. A reading and prayers were given by Yunus Dudwala, (pictured)the Trust's multifaith manager, and hospital chaplain Russell Ogston.
Music was provided by children from Langdon School, East Ham, the choir from Nelson Primary, also East Ham, along with Nivetha Sivanantharjah from Bridge Builders in Unity.
Mr Timms said: "We remember those who lost their lives in the tragedy of July 7 and we take pride in the determinedly unified way our borough responded to those terrible events.
